How long does it take to turn an itinerary?
Because every itinerary is built from scratch, it’s impossible to provide a generic timeline. A three-day staycation will have a faster turnaround than a two week, multi destination international vacation.
If you have a hard deadline, please be sure to mention this upfront so we can make your trip a priority.
Help! My trip is a few days away. Can you help me?
If you’re in a last-minute pinch (~72 hrs to the start of your trip), email [email protected] with the subject line “Help! 72 Hr Turnaround” and complete this questionnaire. We’ll get back to you ASAP to confirm whether we can accommodate your request. If we can, you’ll be charged a RUSH fee of $20 per day of your trip.

Of course, this is just a sample, tailored to someone whose tastes probably don’t match yours. When you travel with Monarch & Swift, you’ll work 1-on-1 with one of our staff, who will build an itinerary specifically for you.

By its nature, with travel comes some level of uncertainty. Perhaps the guide for your mezcal tasting feels under-the-weather? Or it downpours the day you’re set to do a street art tour? It’s impossible to account for every second of every day. With that in mind, here are the specific circumstances in which we will work with you to make it right:

- We will update and rework your itinerary until you’re completely satisfied. We’re 100% confident we can create a travel plan that you’ll be excited for, and we’ll work with you until you’re happy. If after 3 rounds of iterations you feel we won’t be able to meet your needs, we’ll offer you a 100% refund. Please note – we will iterate as many times as needed to satisfy your expectations and you are not limited to 3 rounds. We simply ask you to give us the opportunity to iterate 3 times before requesting a refund.
- Trip cancellations: We’re unfortunately unable to refund your planning service fees due to trip cancellations. If your trip is delayed due to any extenuating circumstances, we are happy to rearrange your itinerary for free. If your trip is postponed for the foreseeable future, let us know when you’re heading there next and we’ll update your itinerary for those new dates—you’ll have access to your itinerary indefinitely!

Do I pay upfront?
We require a 50% deposit before we start building your itinerary. Because each itinerary is built from scratch, we invest a significant amount of time before we deliver the final product. Once the itinerary is to your satisfaction, the remaining balance will be charged.
Can I give Monarch & Swift as a gift?
Obviously!
